2015-2017. Global Media Makers is a comprehensive filmmaker education initiative led by Film Independent and sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. This report provides an evaluation of Phases 1 and 2 of the program – from pre-production planning through the Fellows’ five-week residency in Los Angeles.

2011-2015. Projects have encompassed conception, design, and implementation of evaluation workplans; data draws, management, and representations; developing and administering survey protocols; program documentation and report writing; R&E webpage development and maintenance; and other assessment and evaluation activities. Analytics and models have been used for departmental planning, grants stewardship, reports to government, funder, and community stakeholders, marketing strategies, program design, and internal quality management.
